Plot

After his adopted parents are killed, a young boy named Doug (Scott Jacoby) is set to be returned to state custody. However, his 73-year-old grandfather, Hyam Malsh (Herschel Bernardi), who is seriously ill, is denied custody. In a last-ditch effort to keep his grandson, Malsh takes the boy and flees toward Canada, with authorities in pursuit.
