In this 1996 sci-fi thriller, an ambitious artist named Edward seeks a shortcut to genius by participating in a secret experiment. Using high-tech equipment, a mad scientist attempts to "download" the memories and talents of dying masters directly into Edward’s mind.
However, the process takes a dark turn when he accidentally inherits the memories of a depraved serial killer instead. As the violent impulses take over, Edward’s girlfriend, Britt, must race to save his soul before the darkness consumes him entirely.
