Mother Knows Best" is a 1997 thriller movie starring Joanna Kerns, Christine Elise, and Grant Show. The movie is about:
- A controlling mother, Celeste, who wants her daughter, Laurel, to marry well.
- Celeste hires a killer to eliminate Laurel's husband after deciding he is not good enough.
- The film is based on a true story.
A woman urges her daughter to get married. And when her daughter does, she doesn't think that she made a good choice. So she goes out and hires a killer to kill her son-in-law.
