The first extension episode based on the long-running "Father Knows Best" series of the '50s and '60s. In the first story, the Anderson children -- Betty, Bud, and Kathy -- return home to celebrate the thirty-fifth wedding anniversary of their parents, Jim and Margaret Anderson. The characters of the old series have evolved as follows: Betty, the elder daughter, is a widow with two children; Bud, their son, is a motorcycle racer; and Kathy, their younger daughter, is engaged to a man ten years her senior.
