Elizabeth Montgomery starred in the 1979 TV movie "Jennifer: A Woman's Story". She played Jennifer Prince, the widow of a wealthy shipbuilder.

The movie's plot centers around Jennifer's struggle to maintain control of her husband's business after his death, facing opposition and schemes from factions within the board of directors. The film addresses the theme of a woman's ability to have a say and thrive in a male-dominated business world. It was based on the British TV series "The Foundation" and served as a pilot for a potential American adaptation.

Montgomery's performance was praised, even though some critics considered the film itself as "standard TV pap". The movie also featured a supporting cast including Bradford Dillman, Scott Hylands, and Kate Mulgrew.

The widow of a wealthy executive battles schemes by factions of the board of directors as she fights to keep control of his shipbuilding company.
