Plot summary
The film is about Will Browning. Facing summer military school due to poor grades, he orders a "Ocean Pups" kit for a science project. Unaware, the kit contains a cloning agent, and he accidentally clones himself instead of sea creatures. He names his clone "Twoie" and uses him to attend school and improve his grades, as Twoie is much smarter. Will's initial excitement fades as Twoie becomes popular and excels, causing Will to become jealous. Two scientists from the "Ocean Pups" company complicate matters by wanting to kidnap Twoie. The film explores themes of identity, family, and the unexpected consequences of scientific experimentation.
Andrew Lawrence plays Will Browning, a slacker teenager, and his clone, Twoie (also known as Gil Pupman).
Mark L. Taylor plays Patrick Browning, Will's father.
Lori Hallier plays Kathryn Browning, Will's mother.
Will Browning accidentally creates a clone of himself when working on a science project.
