Plot: The story revolves around childhood friends, Heather and Suzanne, who are both aspiring singers and lifelong rivals. Suzanne, who has always been overshadowed by the more talented Heather, becomes increasingly jealous and emotionally disturbed. Under a new identity (Zanne Armstrong), she enrolls in the same college as Heather with the sole purpose of destroying her life and career. She pretends to be Heather's friend while sabotaging her friendships, band, and even stealing Heather's boyfriend, Simon. Heather eventually realizes Zanne's true identity and tries to expose her.
