Synopsis: The film follows Isobel Gateway (Shaver), a mother whose disabled son is kidnapped by her estranged husband, Gateway (Ironside).
Police reluctance: The police decline to help Isobel because, without a divorce decree, the father's actions do not constitute a kidnapping.
A desperate mother: Impatient with the lack of progress, Isobel seeks help from mercenary magazines and private detectives. She eventually hires Jocko Riley (Hylands), an assassin who has been stalking her.
Jocko's involvement: Jocko initially stalks Isobel, but eventually convinces her to use his services to retrieve her son. He discovers Gateway's hideout and motive.
The rescue: The film culminates in a confrontation involving a fight and an explosion, with Jocko ultimately helping to return the son to safety.
